Measuring your waist helps you choose the right size for your body's current shape.
Prepare to Measure
-
Use a soft, flexible measuring tape (cloth) to measure around your natural waist, near the belly button.
-
Stand straight but relaxed — don’t suck in your stomach (measure natural size).
-
Our natural waist is usually the smallest part of our torso:
-
It’s above your belly button and below your rib cage.
-
A simple trick: bend sideways — the crease that forms is your natural waistline.
-
Wrap the tape horizontally around that spot.
-
Wrap the tape snugly around your waist, keeping it parallel to the floor.
-
It should be snug but not tight — you should still be able to breathe normally.
-
Measure at the end of a normal breath.
-
For best accuracy, measure twice or three times and average the results. Feelingirl
Determine Trainer Size based on your waist in inches. The Waist inch fluctuates before and after the weekend.
Example:
If your natural waist measures 32″
→ The Waist Trainer L is 31.5 to 35.4. If you're 31 and want to get M instead, then keep in mind that after the weekend, your waist might be 33, and M won't fit. I bounce between XS, S & M depending on the season. Holidays season, I'm in M. Summer I'm in XS
✔ The trainer should feel snug but NOT painful — you should be able to breathe and move. It's made of rubber and will stretch.
✔ If you can’t zip it, or it bulges and wrinkles, it might be too small. The included meal plan is recommended for the best results.
✔ If it’s too loose and doesn’t compress, measure your waist; it's time to go down one size — if your body allows it comfortably.
