How much Protein do you eat?

Updated: Nov 12

Women ask me all the time, “How much protein do you eat?”

It sounds like a simple nutrition question… but most of the time, it’s not really about the protein.

What they really want to know is:

“How does what I’m doing compare to what you’re doing?”

And underneath that?

It’s often an indirect way of asking:

“Will your plan actually work for me… or am I going to spend the money and fail again?”

Here’s the thing — comparing our numbers doesn’t teach you anything.

I could eat 140g of protein and you could eat 80g — and still, without learning what your body needs and why, you’ll spin your wheels.

The real power isn’t in my numbers — it’s in your learning.

Instead of comparing, start tracking.

Not forever. Not perfectly.

Just 7 days of consistent food tracking to see:

  • How much protein you’re actually eating

  • How your meals line up with your goals

  • Where the gaps really are

That’s where you stop guessing and start knowing.

Because here’s the truth:

When you understand your numbers, you can adjust them.

When you adjust them, you see change.

And when you see change, you stop wondering if a plan will work for you… because you’ve already proven to yourself that it will.

Stop comparing. Start learning. Give yourself 7 days.

I’ll tell you my numbers but now you might freak out that’s it’s too high so I don’t want to scare you. Sometimes I lie just to make the person comfortable but I don’t like to be a liar and I shouldn’t have to shrink myself for anyone’s comfort.

Protein should not be scary. How to eat now on your own is actually scary because you’re not happy with your body. If yo were happy then you wouldn’t questioning.

Goal is between 08 - 1 times your current weight right now = grams. Do yo Know what 100 grams of protein looks like? Cause if you don’t then it doesn’t matter what my number is. You need to understand what that is first before you do anything else.
